Activision comments on the possibility of Modern Warfare 2 on Wii
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 8 Comments
“Treyarch is working on this (Modern Warfare: Reflex) right now. Infinity Ward is working on Modern Warfare 2 right now. I think it’s fair to say that we want to give the Wii consumer new experiences and we’ll continue to do that.” – Activision’s Daniel Suarez, executive producer of Modern Warfare: Reflex
Obviously, there’s going to be another Call of Duty game beyond Modern Warfare 2 on the PS3/360. Next year, though, I’d rather have the latest title for Nintendo’s console. I can’t tell if Modern Warfare: Reflex will shape up to be an excellent experience (I’m still waiting for some footage, Activision!), but it would be disappointing if Wii owners could only purchase Modern Warfare 2 next year rather than something like Modern Warfare 3.
