Nintendo of Canada communications director Matt Ryan has answered a few questions about the upcoming Wii Mini, a new version of the old console. He commented on why certain features were removed (including online), discussed the system’s market, talked about why it will only launch in Canada, and touched on the Mini’s lifecycle. There’s also talk about how Ryan feels that the Wii Mini and Wii U won’t interfere with each other.

LEGO: The Lord of the Rings is available on practically every platform. Because of this – as well as Nintendo’s tight relationship with Warner Bros. Interactive – it seemed inevitable that the game would eventually come to Wii U.
As we now know, that won’t happen. But that raises the simple question: why?
A Warner Bros. Interactive rep explained:
“The primary reason is that [Traveller’s Tales] and Lego were already working on Lego City Undercover for Wii U.”
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed patch hits Wii U

A new patch has been made available for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Wii U. Downloading the update brings the game to v1.1.1.
The patch addresses numerous issues. Boost challenges have been fixed, and online functionality has been improved.
