Wii U

Eurogamer has posted a couple of interesting Super Mario Maker-related videos. Below, you’ll see Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka playing the game. They also discuss the creation of World 1-1 in the original Super Mario Bros.

Tomorrow, a new rule set will be added to Devil’s Third in Europe and Japan.

The game will be receiving the new “Guardian” Drill mode. Those who play the rule set between September 8 and September 15 can receive five times the experience points.

Before this new content is added in, Devil’s Third will be undergoing a few hours of maintenance. Online play will be affected between 2 AM and 5 AM CEST.

This post is sort of a work-in-progress once again! As some of you may have noticed, we’re starting to add Europe and Canada to the list. I think that we’ll limit things to Amazon though, otherwise things will start to really get out of hand. If any of you have suggestions or ideas for the format of this post, let me know!

More:

Towards the very end of August, the Genei Ibun Roku #FE website was updated with two new staff blogs. Art director Fumitaka Yano and Hideo Minaba from CyDesignation both discussed the designs of Mirages. While battling, the main characters merge themselves with Mirages, who take the appearance of characters from the Fire Emblem series.

We now have complete translations of the two blog posts. You’ll find them after the break.

Before this year, Starlight Fun Centers in hospitals across North America and other areas included Wii units. Sometime in around April, they were swapped out with Wii U consoles.

The Starlight Fun Center has the Wii U (with related controllers) and a flat panel screen. 25 games are pre-installed, including Mario Kart 8 and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
