“There are massive expectations which are both worrying and exciting for us, and we know that this game has to be as innovative and ground-breaking as that first title was.” – Bond franchise insider David G Wilson

A lot of gamers have classic memories with the N64 game that you don’t want to mess with. The developers will have to find the right balance of remaking certain parts of the game and keeping portions of the original title in tact.

“I do not think that there is an immediate need to replace the Wii console. But of course, at some point in the future, the need will arise. We currently do not have an answer as to what point in the future that need will come.” – Satoru Iwata

Just if I had to guess, I don’t think we’ll see a Wii successor for at least two years. I don’t think Nintendo would want to take away anything from the 3DS!

Dunaway on the 3DS…

“We love being on the frontier. 3DS certainly is. I feel like it’s amazing. That’s what we hear most people say when they see it, ‘I can’t believe it looks this good!’. …it’s more than just the way they look, it’s the way it changes the gameplay. The fact that all of these developers would be excited about being part of Nintendo 3DS says a lot about what the potential of this hardware really is. (Alex Neuse of Gaijin Games) he is just over the moon on 3DS, and he can’t wait to do Bit.Trip.Runner ideas in 3D.”

Dunaway on the 3DS movies business model…

“We don’t know what the business model is going to be for delivering movie content, but we want people to see that this device is very capable.”
