Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition boxart shows new screenshots

Even though Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition (that’s a mouthful, isn’t it?) releases in just six days, only a handful of official screenshots have been released. No trailers, no videos, pretty much nothing in general. For now, gamers will be forced to make a purchasing decision based on a few previews written during GDC and pre-alpha screenshots. However, someone took a picture of the Reflex Edition box – particularly the back – which shows a few new screens. They are blurry, but this is what people have had to resort to in order to get a better idea about the game! You can check out the images below.

Infinity Ward community manager says Wii can’t deliver PS3/360 cinematic experiences
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 9 Comments
“If we felt like we could deliver the cinematic experience we were going for on other platforms, then we would gladly move to that platform. Right now, we don’t think the Wii can deliver the exact experience that we’re doing. We like to be very equal across all platforms, and if it’s not equal then we won’t do it.” – Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling
Obviously, Infinity Ward will not be able to provide Wii owners with the same experience as the PS3/360 as far as graphics are concerned. However, I don’t believe that it’s extremely difficult to bring a similar overall experience to the Wii.

Nintendo to finally introduce first demos of WiiWare games
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 12 Comments
Nintendo has been well-known for its lack of enthusiasm when it comes to game demos. However, it looks as though Nintendo may be changing its tune. At the most recent Q&A session of Nintendo’s Semi-annual Financial Results Briefing, company president Satoru Iwata indicated that demos of upcoming WiiWare titles will be introduced. And in fact, Iwata hinted that gamers may even see the first demos sometime this month. This is sort of an experiment for now, though, and and it isn’t entirely clear if Nintendo will continue to release additional demos.
The president hopes that this move will encourage Wii owners to become more involved with the Wii Shop Channel. Iwata told investors at the Q&A sessions that sales of digital downloads haven’t been a huge hit yet.
