Splinter Cell: Blacklist comparisons, Wii U version analyzed

Digital Foundry has put up a new piece analyzing the performance and visuals put into each version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
On Wii U, Blacklist maintains the best resolution compared to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, resulting in the clearest image. However, it comes with lower textures, some framerate drops, fairly lengthy loading screens, and freezing issues.

SEGA’s PAX Prime 2013 lineup

SEGA has confirmed its full lineup for this year’s PAX Prime. Sonic Lost World, Total War: Rome II, Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F, and the mobile title Heroki will be playable at the expo.
SEGA’s slate of games can be seen at booth #142/242.

Zelda: Wind Waker HD dated for North America

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will be hitting North America on October 4, it has been confirmed. A general October timeframe had been announced previously.
The official date comes from a press release sent out earlier today regarding the Symphony of the Goddesses concert tour.
Zelda: Wind Waker HD will also be hitting Europe on October 4. It’ll be hitting Japan on September 26.

Nintendo Celebrates New Zelda Game for Wii U with Epic Concert Event

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses Will Feature Classic Music, Fan Art and Game Play
REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Nintendo:

To celebrate the launch of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for Wii U on Oct. 4, Nintendo is adding some extra magic to the Seattle stop of The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert tour. The currently touring concert that features music from The Legend of Zelda series performed by a full orchestra will be performing in Seattle at Benaroya Hall on Sept. 12.
The Seattle performance will not only feature the legendary musical arrangements fans all over the country have fallen in love with, but it will also include kiosks with game-play demos of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for Wii U and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for Nintendo 3DS, unique photo opportunities and fan art that will be displayed during the performance.
