One Wii U game “announcement” has made it out before the start of the next three presentations.
Joystiq snapped a photo of a demo unit in New York City showing Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The game will presumably be playable following today’s conference.
I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot about the Wii U version shortly, so look forward to that!

Anyone care to watch three Wii U presentations at once? Then take a look below for links!
1. Watch the US event here.
2. Watch the European event here.
3. Watch the Japanese event here (first and third-party games).
The fun begins in a half hour – 10:00 AM ET / 7:00 AM PT. We’ll try to cover as much as we possibly can. Since three events are scheduled at once though, that makes things extremely difficult.
Points given through Nintendo Network Premium program will vary by publisher

Here’s another tidbit about the Nintendo Network Premium program – the points you get back won’t be constant. Publishers will decide how many points are handed out with download purchases. In the end, this probably makes sense.

Nintendo planning Japanese Wii accessory pack for Japan
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
Japanese consumers who are interested in the Wii U but never owned a Wii will be able to purchase a new bundle of sorts that contains a bunch of accessories.
For 5,250 yen (roughly $67), you can get a Wii Remote Plus, nunchuck, and sensor bar.
Since so many Wii U games will work with the Wiimote (and nunchuck), this would be a smart-buy for non-Wii users.

As soon as the Wii U hits store shelves, you’ll be able to purchase retail titles through the eShop. Both New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land will be available as downloads. Of course, you can grab these titles in stores as well.

More Japanese Wii U prices: controllers, accessories, games
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
The big news coming out of the first Japanese Wii U presentation concerned the console’s release date and price. Prior to this announcement though, Satoru Iwata priced a couple of controllers, accessories, and games. We have information on each below.
Controllers
GamePad – 13,440 yen (includes adapter)
Pro Controller – 5,040 yen
Accessories
GamePad stand – 315 yen
Charge and Play stand – 1,890 yen
Games
New Super Mario Bros. U – 5,985 yen
Nintendo Land – 4,935 yen
So… yeah. Looks like Nintendo Land won’t be bundled with the console – at least in Japan.
