Retailer listing discovered for 007 Legends Wii U

Activision could be bringing its upcoming James Bond game to Wii U. Amazon France lists the shooter for Nintendo’s upcoming console.
Even though E3 2012 has passed, Activision’s plans for Wii U are mostly unclear. Although Skylanders Giants has been confirmed for the system, the company has been quiet about additional titles.
007 Legends could be a nice addition to the Wii U’s lineup – assuming Amazon’s listing can be trusted. The last James Bond game for a Nintendo console – GoldenEye 007 on Wii – was well-received and performed fairly well at retail.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will have “Nintendo-like” modes on Wii U
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
For the most part, the Wii U edition of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will feature most of the same content as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. But Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada has teased that there will be “Nintendo-like” modes on Wii U.
Harada wouldn’t say too much about this. He pointed to one example that was previously shown – making characters larger through the Mario Mega Mushroom. You can see this in action briefly here.
As for what else the team has in store, Harada wouldn’t say.
“Well, because of the controller, obviously there are going to be a few features that are more convenient because you can control them directly from the interface. But it’s not like the overall game mechanics are going to change that drastically. There are going to be some modes that will be interesting, because they are very Nintendo like. Some of this was shown at E3, where a mushroom drops down and Heihachi eats it and gets bigger. You know Nintendo fans hearing and seeing that just exploded with excitement. The things that we can do because it is Nintendo are things people will be very excited about, but we can’t go into it any further. That being said though, a lot of the online modes and customisation on the 360 and PS3 will be geared towards the core audience a little bit more.”

Pachter’s Activision/Wii U Pro controller comments not based on inside info
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter says that his recent comments regarding Activision motivating Nintendo to make the Wii U Pro controller centered around nothing more than an “educated guess”.
Pachter said today:
“I am putting two and two together to conclude that Activision put pressure on them. I do not know this either first-hand or third-hand; nobody told me. I am merely deducing it from what we know, and it’s an educated guess.”
I actually thought this was understood based on the way Pachter’s comments were worded. He did say that Activision never told him anything, and he didn’t make it seem as though he received any inside information. Anyway, Pachter has now made it clear that he was just voicing his feelings, so hopefully we can put those quotes behind us.

Believe it or not, there are still a couple of character reveals on the way to Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Katsuhiro Harada has given a few hints about the unknown roster inclusions.
Harada shared the following:
Hint #1
“One is a character a lot of people have been asking for his return. So, maybe they won’t be surprised, but a lot of people will be happy to hear about this.”
Hint #2
“Maybe, it’s not quite a new character, but it’s one people will be very surprised at. This character is one that they wouldn’t have discovered.”

There’s a rumor going around that the recently revealed Deadpool game will get its own version on Wii U. However, we should probably try to clear up the confusion.
Simply put, Deadpool isn’t confirmed for Wii U.
The rumor seems to be based on a Q&A transcription made on an official live blog this past weekend during the Marvel video games panel. Following the Deadpool reveal, one fan asked the following as part of the panel’s Q&A session:
