Something tells me that this game won’t hold over hardcore Wii gamers for the summer… On the bright side, we’ll be getting Ocarina of Time 3D around the same time, but I admit that doesn’t help out those who haven’t purchased a 3DS.

Nintendo Power May 2011 cover

Isn’t it nice to see a Zelda game grace the cover of Nintendo Power once again? I’m not too sure that the magazine will have anything new on the title, but it should be an interesting read nonetheless. Perhaps we’ll see Skyward Sword on a cover later this year…
Thanks to Jake for the tip!
Yoshizumi quiet about Tales of Graces F Wii, says we’ll receive news soon
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 0 comments
Now that Tales of the Abyss 3DS has been confirmed for North America, Nintendo fans can continue to wonder about a different game in the franchise, Graces F. Back in February, Namco Bandai shared encouraging news that the title will be brought overseas, but didn’t say much anything about the Wii version. The status of the Wii edition is still up in the air, though Makoto Yoshizumi told Nintendo Power that we’ll be hearing more about the game soon.
Q: At the time of this interview, Tales of Graces F has been announced for Western release, but no platform has been specified. Is there any hope for the release of the Wii version?
A: You will be hearing more about Tales of Graces F very soon.

Iwata’s regret with the Wii
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Wii | 0 comments
This information comes from Satoru Iwata…
“I now regret that we didn’t tie up with someone outside the company to market the Wii. If we had done that, the fate of the Wii might have been different. Now I am aware that we should not rely too much on ourselves. You will see what I mean by this when we market the 3DS and the Wii in the future.”
Iwata’s statements are somewhat vague… so that makes things a bit confusing! Some people believe that he was referring to working with third-parties to produce content for the Wii, though that isn’t entirely clear.
