Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 first details

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 was recently confirmed, and first details have now been revealed. Japanese magazine Famitsu has the early scoop as to what can be expected from the game.
Here’s what’s been shared thus far, courtesy of Siliconera:
– Development is 60 percent complete
– Will take place a year after the original game’s true ending
– Those who have completed the first game and still possess the save data will get access to special content
– Sequel’s story will be “double the volume”
– Malt is the protagonist again
– New weapons to choose from
– Turbo mode, which speeds up route progression movement, will be available on launch
– Players will also have access to significantly improved airship technology
– This will allow the player to not only use them for support but also absorb enemies and replenish their supplies
– “Judgment system” where player choices will affect the outcome of the story
– This system will also affect the interactions and relationships between characters
As previously announced, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 will be highlighted during an incoming live stream. This is set to be held on CyberConnect2’s YouTube channel on July 28, 2022 at 4 AM PST / 7 AM ET.
Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 launches for Switch sometime in 2023.
