Iwata says limited edition New 3DS hardware almost sold out in North America and Europe

We have a small update on New 3DS sales from Nintendo president Satoru Iwata. Thanks to information provided during Nintendo’s latest financial results briefing, limited edition hardware experienced high pre-orders in North America and Europe. Many stores closed reservations prior to launch, and Iwata says that they pretty much sold out upon release.
