Japan’s best-selling games of March 2024

New data gives us a look at Japan’s best-selling games of March 2024.
Princess Peach: Showtime was Nintendo’s big release for the month, but it settles for second place. Just over 100,000 copies were sold. Unicorn Overlord also cracks the top five.
Here’s the full list of Japan’s best-selling games of March 2024:
1. [PS5] Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – 310,596 / NEW
2. [NSW] Princess Peach: Showtime – 104,820 / NEW
3. [PS5] Rise of the Ronin – 84,785 / NEW
4. [PS5] Dragon’s Dogma II – 77,764 / NEW
5. [NSW] Unicorn Overlord – 61,954 / NEW
Regarding hardware, Switch sold 290,000 units in February. The system’s sales are up, though one factor is that there were five weeks during the tracking period instead of four.
Also worth a mention is that Nintendo was the top publisher of the month. The company sold 521,000 units at retail – the next closest was Square Enix at 387,000 units. Atlus was in third with 133,000 units (boosted by Unicorn Overlord).
