Niantic planning stat boosts for Pokemon GO

Niantic has announced that stat boosts are planned for Pokemon GO. Beginning on Saturday during Swinub Community Day, certain Charge Attacks will have a chance to trigger stat boosts in Trainer Battles. Stat boosts will be applied until the Pokemon faints or is switched out of battle.
Here’s the lineup of first moves that will be impacted:
– Ancient Power: Chance to raise the user’s Attack and Defense
– Ominous Wind: Chance to raise the user’s Attack and Defense
– Silver Wind: Chance to raise the user’s Attack and Defense
Niantic says, “This is just the first of many updates to come, so stay tuned for more communications about Trainer Battles.”
