In Japan, D3Publisher will soon release “@Simple DL Series Vol.13 The Taxi: I am a Charismatic Driver”. Put the odd name aside and you’re left with a game that sounds somewhat like a Crazi Taxi title.

@Simple DL Series Vol.13 The Taxi: I am a Charismatic Driver has players taking on the role of a taxi driver as they attempt to earn one million yen. The meat of the game involves picking up passengers and racing through Rainbow City as they’re brought downtown or to the movie theater. It’s possible to customize your taxi with a wing, bumper, license plate, accessory, wheel, sticker, and special accessory, and power-ups can be purchased to adjust how the taxi drives.

@Simple DL Series Vol.13 The Taxi: I am a Charismatic Driver will be available on the Japanese 3DS eShop on June 12 for 600 yen.

Alright, so I know what you guys are thinking, “Why on earth would Warner Bros. Interactive and Traveller’s Tales release a year-old game on the Wii U when I can just buy it for less money on a different console?” Well I’m here to tell you that LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes on Wii U stands strong on its own with the integration of Wii U Gamepad controls. Not only is it a sequel, it’s a unique game on its own, allowing players to enjoy exploring the Batman Universe for a second time.
