Yoshi Ono has worked on some significant titles in his career, including the recent release of Super Street Fighter IV. But apparently something bigger is on the way. Ono posted a brief, cryptic message on his Twitter account, about something that will soon be coming:
“Super SF4 on sale!! SuperSF4 is nothing compared to what’s coming!!”
That really isn’t much to guess on, though hopefully we’ll see some sort of announcement in the near future. There honestly isn’t a clue here at all. Though if it’s Nintendo related, you can bet we’ll let you know about it!
Remix Mode
– There is a sub-mode, Backboard Smash
– Two teams compete head-to-head
– Health meter instead of scoreboard
– Need to deplete the other team’s health meter to win
– During the match, backboards deteriorate
– Big dunks count more than than three-point shots
– Goaltending heals the other team’s board
Boss Battles
– Camera is behind the back
– Basket placed at the top of the screen
– 1-on-1 matches
– More of a focus on shoving
– Bosses capable of performing special moves (ex: teleport)
– All bosses have an intro
Yes, I know that E3 ended a few weeks ago so writing about it this year’s show would be a bit irrelevant. That’s why I’m going to be REALLY irrelevant and take a look back at the last sixteen years of the Electronic Entertainment Expo, focusing specifically on all the games and hardware shown off by Nintendo. So let’s pretend that Pluto is still a planet and that Sonic is still popular as we travel back in time to the mid 90’s…

This information comes from Ghost Trick director Shu Takumi…
“[Laughs] Well, we’ll see about [Ghost Trick] two, three and four, but that depends on how well this game is received. We’ll wait and see on that one, but we definitely hope that people will enjoy the game enough. Maybe we will make a two, three and four.”
In terms of critical reception, I’m sure Ghost Trick will be received well. It’s just the sales I’m worrying about! In Japan, the title has performed decently so far, though I’m not sure how things will pan out in North America and Europe.

Because Nintendo has, more or less, addressed Wii storage issues by further supporting the SD card, I wouldn’t expect a hard drive any time soon. However, there have been reports of similar technology provided to certain locations. You may remember thatwe told you about a hard drive-enabled Wii that was sent to a hospital back in 2008.
