A final World of Goo 2 trailer has come in to promote today’s launch. After the original game launched during the WiiWare era, the sequel arrives all of these years later.

World of Goo 2 Switch physical release confirmed

World of Goo 2 is initially launching today, but it’s just been announced that a physical release is happening as well. Fireshine Games will be distributing the title starting on October 29, 2024, and pre-orders should be opening at retailers very soon.

World of Goo 2 delayed to August

World of Goo 2 is seeing a delay, it’s been announced. The game will now launch on August 2, 2024.
World of Goo 2 was confirmed for Switch during a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase in February. Originally, it was planned for May 23. The title should still be a console exclusive for Switch at launch.

Tomorrow Corporation recently announced that World of Goo, Little Inferno, and Human Resource Machine will be ready for Switch’s launch on March 3. Just in case you had any doubts, Europe is getting all three games on the same day. It’ll be a simultaneous release.
Tomorrow Corporation also said that its games work with all three Switch modes. That means you’ll be able to play the titles on your television (or any other way you see fit).
