Activision and Beenox have announced details of the first major update planned for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. If all goes as planned, the patch will be going live for Switch on July 3.

The upcoming update will add in a great deal of content, including the Nitro Tour Grand Prix, leaderboards in the Grand Prix Menu, new Pit Stop content, podium animations for online matches and more.

Here’s the full rundown of what’s to come:

Digital Foundry has taken a closer look at the Switch version of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. Specifically, the game’s technical performance has been examined in greater detail.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is 16GB on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Meanwhile, the Switch version is about 6GB. How’d the team managed to shrink the game’s file size? Part of this can be attributed to slightly lower-quality pre-encoded videos. If you’re playing in handheld mode in particular, this is something you probably won’t notice easily.
