Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for April 2023.

This time around, the biggest story for Nintendo concerned hardware sales. PlayStation 5 took the top spot for consoles, but Switch increased by 26 percent over March and 30 percent over April 2022. The main reason? The new Zelda Switch that came out at the end of the month and comprised for 29 percent of all Switch consoles sold last month.

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for April 2023.

Minecraft is again at the top for a second month in a row. Outside of that, we see Dredge doing very well at #2 and Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp #4.
