Gameloft has announced the completion of the Early Access period for Disney Speedstorm, with the game pursuing its original plan for its free-to-play experience on September 28, 2023.

Thus far, the only way to play the racer has been by purchasing the Founder’s Packs. Gameloft has been fielding feedback during the initial launch in hopes of improving the game.

The next big update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, known as “The Remembering”, is almost here. Gameloft has announced its availability for tomorrow, June 7.

This is a big update with the introduction of Fairy Godmother, the biggest story update yet, and new features to help players shape their valley. The customary bug fixes and improvements are included as well.

Disney Speedstorm adding Steamboat Mickey and Pete in Season 2

Original (5/22): Gameloft has announced that Steamboat Mickey is joining Disney Speedstorm. The character will be available during Season 2 as part of a limited edition, though further details haven’t been announced.

The upcoming playable character stems from Steamboat Willie, which is said to be the original appearance of Mickey Mouse. This short film came out way back in 1928.

Disney Speedstorm today revealed the latest addition to its roster, with Figment set to be a playable character. This will be available as part of Season 1.

Figment may come as a surprising addition for some as we’ve typically seen representatives from popular movies. For those that are unaware, the purple dragon is the mascot of the “Imagination!” pavilion at the Epcot theme park at Walt Disney World Resort.

Original (4/3): Gameloft has shared patch notes for the next Disney Dreamlight Valley update, which is known as Pride of the Valley. It should be available on April 5, 2023.
