Wildfrost Switch Online Game Trial

Another Game Trial has been announced for Nintendo Switch Online in Europe, and this time around, Wildfrost is taking the spotlight.

During the event, the entire experience can be accessed at no extra cost. All progress can be transferred to the full version if you choose to purchase it.

Super Rare Games will ship a physical release for Wildfrost on Switch, the company announced today.

You can grab it standalone, which includes the cartridge, trading cards, color manual, and sticker. Also planned is a Deluxe Edition which adds luminice design Switch Joy-Con thumb grips, wooden jangly charm, Noomlin bookmark, magnet, CD soundtrack, and three design postcards. 3,000 standard copies and 1,000 Deluxe Editions will be made.

Wildfrost Friends & Foes update 1.2.0

June 3: Wildfrost will soon be getting its next major update known as “Friends & Foes”, or version 1.2.0. This is said to be the biggest patch yet.

The update brings along the latest content, including new characters, charms, challenges, and items. Many changes and fixes are included as well.

Wildfrost started to go live with a new version 1.1.0 update today known as “The Storm Bell”.

This is said to be the biggest update for the game thus far. It includes a new Storm Bell difficulty system, Chiseled and Golden card frames, big card and charm balancing reworks, improved dailies, bug fixes, and more.

Wildfrost has gone live with a new update dubbed “A Better Adventure”.

The patch includes a new leader selection system, more rewards, an overhaul of the enemy wave system, and target preview for enemies. That’s on top of bug fixes and some other aspects.

Wildfrost "Fixes and Tinkers" update

The next Wildfrost update, “Fixes and Tinkers”, has just gone live on Switch. This is also known as version 1.0.5.

A bunch of stuff is included in today’s update. It includes balancing and effect changes, an improved tutorial, turn order viewer, battle-specific map icons, skippable treasure, and bug fixes.

Chucklefish brought Wildfrost to Switch this week, and we have a lengthy batch of gameplay. 40 minutes of footage shows off the tactical roguelike deckbuilder.

Thanks to Chucklefish, Deadpan Games, and Gaziter, we have a release date for Wildfrost. It’s been confirmed that the tactical roguelike deckbuilder is heading to Switch on April 12, 2023.

Chucklefish originally announced Wildfrost for Switch last May. It was initially planned for the fall, but the project ended up seeing a delay.
