Death end re;Quest

The Japanese RPG Death end re;Quest is heading to Switch, an eShop listing reveals. It will release digitally on December 24.

Death end re;Quest will initially be distributed only in Japan. However, Idea Factory previously localized the game for other platforms, so a western launch should take place eventually.

Here’s some information about Death end re;Quest, along with a trailer:

Aksys Games today announced a trio of otome visual novels for western release. After previously debuting in Japan, Olympia Soirée, Dairoku: Ayakashimori, and Variable Barricade will be localized in English.

Here’s a brief overview of each title:

Azur Lane: Crosswave

Idea Factory and Compile Heart have provided a final western release date for the 3D action shooter Azur Lane: Crosswave. The game will launch physically and digitally on February 16, 2021 in North America and February 19, 2021 in Europe, the two sides announced today.

The Switch version of Azur Lane: Crosswave features Taihou and Formidable as playable characters, and both have three support characters each and additional story content. Photo Mode has also updated, allowing you to pose six characters instead of three and with extended camera angles.

Code: Realize ~Wintertide Miracles~ has been confirmed to be coming for both a digital and physical Switch release in the west by publisher Aksys Games. In Japan, the visual novel initially came to Switch last July. Check out an overview courtesy of Gematsu below.

Azur Lane: Crosswave

The 3D action shooter Azur Lane: Crosswave will launch for Switch in February 2021, Idea Factory and Compile Heart announced today. It’ll be sold both physically and digitally.

Players can look forward to new features in the Switch version, including Taihou and Formidable as playable characters in the base game with three support characters each and additional story content. There will also be an updated Photo Mode in which you can pose up to six characters instead of three and use new extended camera angles.

Cafe Enchante

Aksys Games has set a final release date for Cafe Enchante, the otome visual novel for Switch. While we knew that the western launch would be taking place sometime in November, we now have a specific date of November 5.

Each first run copy of Cafe Enchante comes with an exclusive set of six premium cards featuring the main characters. You can see what some of the early designs look like above.

Azur Lane: Crosswave

Idea Factory today revealed that the Switch version of Azur Lane: Crosswave is getting a western release. The 3D action shooter game will launch in North America and Europe in 2021, the company confirmed.

Piofiore: Fated Memories

Previously slated for an October release, Idea Factory has decided to push the release date for Piofiore: Episodio 1926 to November 12 in Japan. Only citing ” “various circumstances” for the delay, it joins the list of the many games that have seen delayed release dates this year.

While publisher Aksys has not yet given word on a delay for the Western release, which was also supposed to release on October 8th, we will update this post if an announcement is made.
