Maintenance for Wii U/3DS games scheduled

New Nintendo maintenance has been scheduled for early next week for various Wii U and 3DS games including Super Mario Maker and Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. The schedule is as follows:
First maintenance period:
- Nintendo 3DS: certain games (online play, leaderboards)
This maintenance will take place on:
– Europe: November 9th (10PM) to November 10th (3AM)
– UK: November 9th (9PM) to November 10th (2AM)
– North America (EDT): November 9th (4PM to 9PM)
– North America (PDT): November 9th (1PM to 6PM)
– Japan: November 10th (6AM to 11AM)
Second maintenance period:
- Nintendo 3DS: Pokémon X and Y (online play, leaderboards)
- Nintendo 3DS: Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire (online play, leaderboards)
This maintenance will take place on:
– Europe: November 10th (1AM to 2AM)
– UK: November 10th (12AM to 1AM)
– North America (EDT): November 9th (7PM to 8PM)
– North America (PDT): November 8th (4PM to 5PM)
– Japan: November 10th (9AM to 10AM)
Third maintenance period:
- Wii U: Super Mario Maker
This maintenance will take place on:
– Europe: November 10th (2AM to 3AM)
– UK: November 10th (1AM to 2AM)
– North America (EDT): November 9th (8PM to 9PM)
– North America (PDT): November 8th (5PM to 6PM)
– Japan: November 10th (10AM to 11AM)
Nintendo Maintenance scheduled for Wii U + 3DS on August 5th

It looks like some maintenance will be coming to online services on 3DS and Wii U systems later this week. Over on neoGAF it was pointed out that this type of extended maintenance often occurs before system updates. In any case, here is the schedule for the downtime:
– Wii U and 3DS (online play, leaderboards, etc…) on Tuesday, August 5:
a) Europe : 2AM to 4AM
b) UK : 1AM to3AM
c) USA (East Coast) : 8PM to 10PM (Monday)
d) USA (West Coast) : 5PM to 7PM (Monday)
e) Japan : 9AM to 11AM
Additionally, Steel Diver: Sub Wars will get the same treatment the following day:
– Steel Diver : Sub Wars (3DS – online play, leaderboards, etc…) on Wednesday, August 6:
a) Europe : 2.50AM to 4AM
b) UK : 1.50AM to3AM
c) USA (East Coast) : 8.50PM to 10PM (Monday)
d) USA (West Coast) : 5.50PM to 7PM (Monday)
e) Japan : 9.50AM to 11AM
