Wheels of Aurelia is coming to Switch on November 2, MixedBag and Santa Ragione announced today. The visual novel / driving game will be sold on the eShop for $9.99 / €9.99.

We have more information about Wheels of Aurelia below, along with the Switch launch trailer.

Lizardcube made it known today that Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap on Switch has outsold all other versions combined. That isn’t the only success story on Nintendo’s console.

MixedBag says that forma.8 has seen the most success on Switch. The Switch version has outsold every version but iOS, which launched at a much cheaper price. However, that also means the Switch version garnered higher revenue.

This is pretty notable, especially since forma.8 only just came to Switch a couple of weeks ago. The launch just took place on August 24.

MixedBag previously teased its first game for Switch. In a message just posted on Twitter, the studio confirms that the title is none other than forma.8.

forma.8 previously came to Wii U. It’s a “unique take on the proven Metroidvania action-adventure formula, with a striking visual style and a huge world to explore.”

MixedBag will be sharing the Switch release date for forma.8 “soon”.

Futuridium EP Deluxe made it to the Wii U eShop in May. Then in September, MixedBag Games published a New 3DS release. Strangely, both versions have now disappeared.

Reader TruExtent informed us about the situation this week. Unfortunately, it’s not entirely clear why Futuridium EP Deluxe has been pulled from the eShop.

TruExtent called Nintendo a few days ago, and was told that Futuridium EP Deluxe was taken down from the eShop on November 9. Apparently it had something to do with a license expiring, but specifics weren’t shared. It’s currently unclear if and when Futuridium EP Deluxe will return. We’ve tried reaching out to MixedBag Games, but have not heard back from the studio.

We’ve been covering forma.8, the newest game from Futuridium EP Deluxe developer MixedBag Games, for almost three years. While it’s still without a release date, we do have good news to report. Work on the project is now complete and has moved on to the QA phase.

forma.8 also remains on track for Wii U. MixedBag hopes to have the game out sometime in February.

The studio wrote on Twitter earlier today:

Santa Ragione is teaming up with MixedBag to bring Wheels of Aurelia to Wii U. The “narrative road trip game” is short in that playthroughs take roughly fifteen minutes, but there are sixteen different endings in total. You’ll follow “the story of Lella, a restless woman driving on the roads of the western coast of Italy”.

Here’s a trailer:

Thanks to a tweet from MixedBag earlier today, we now know that a Wii U version of Wheels of Aurelia is in the works:
