PowerSlave Exhumed

Nightdive Studios is bringing PowerSlave Exhumed to Switch, an eShop listing reveals.

Lobotomy Software originally developed PowerSlave in 1996. The first-person shooter appeared on the SEGA Saturn, PlayStation, and MS-DOS.

PowerSlave Exhumed features a number of visual upgrades. Nightdive Studios also managed to combine the SEGA Saturn and PlayStation versions.

Shadow Man Remastered frame rate resolution

Digital Foundry has published a new video that serves as a technical analysis for Shadow Man Remastered, and we have a bunch of details about the Switch version including frame rate and resolution.

Shadow Man Remastered Switch

It’s been a bit of a long wait for Shadow Man Remastered, especially when it comes to the Switch version. The PC version did arrive a few months ago, but the console version has been missing in action. Thankfully though, the wait is almost over.

Shadow Man Remastered has now popped up on the eShop with an actual release date. We’re assuming that the store page is accurate, which lists a January 17, 2022 release.

Here’s some information about Shadow Man Remastered:

Nightdive Studios’ remastered version of the dark fantasy shooter Quake, originally developed by id Softwre, has received a whole host of new bloody content through the newly released Update 2, not only providing the usual bug fixes, but adding new features like a new add-on, named simply “Honey,” and an all-new Horde Mode, designed by Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus developers MachineGames, who also developed the new episodes exclusive to the renmaster.

Shadow Man Remastered

Out of nowhere, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil was updated on Switch this week. It comes with a pretty big feature: support for online multiplayer. There’s more to it than just that though.

While Switch users can go up against each other, it turns out that cross-play is supported. Right now Switch and PS4 are making use of that. PC and Xbox will be added to the mix later on as well. The online support was finally made possible thanks to the power of the KexEngine and PlayFab.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil first released on Switch back in 2019. It turns out that Nightdive Studios isn’t finished with the game, as a substantial update has been announced. The classic N64 first-person shooter is set to receive online multiplayer and more.
