Ninja Gaiden Ragebound D1 update

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound has just come out with its first major update, which is known as “D1”. Nintendo Switch players can access it now.

There are a few significant things included here. Specifically on Nintendo Switch, performance has been boosted, and there’s now an option to target 60 frames per second (which will come in handy for those playing on Switch 2). Elsewhere there’s a CRT filter, fixes, and more.

The Ninja Gaiden series has expanded with the 2D action platformer Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, and we have a launch trailer for the Nintendo Siwtch game. The title is made by The Game Kitchen, the studio behind Blasphemous.

Ninja Gaiden Ragebound physical

Silver Lining Interactive just revealed that it’s set to produce a physical release for Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. Boxed copies will be available on September 12, 2025.

Fans can choose between a standard copy and a special edition. Every copy comes with the game, soundtrack, and retro booklet. The special edition adds a cloth map, four metal pins, a double-sided hero medallion featuring both protagonists, a pixel stage standee, and a double-sided poster housed in a premium box.

A release date has just been announced for Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. The game is landing on Nintendo Switch on July 31, 2025.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound was originally unveiled during The Game Awards at the end of last year. We knew it was coming this year, but now we have a proper date.

Dotemu, The Game Kitchen, and Koei Tecmo have just unveiled Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. The game launches on Nintendo Switch in Summer 2025.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is a brand new 2D action game. The ninja adventure is being developed by the same team as Blasphemous.
