Pokemon Violet

Terapagos location Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Terapagos is available in the later half of the new Indigo Disk DLC’s story for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but since catching it isn’t quite that simple, we’ll tell you about its location and how to catch it.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC introduces the new Legendary Pokemon Terapagos, who is located at the bottom of Area Zero. Between its in-game role and its appearance in the Pokemon anime, it’s clear that Terapagos is sort of intended as a cut above the rest. It’s supposedly the origin of Terastallization and possibly even Paradox Pokemon, after all.

If you’re looking to add this Legendary Pokemon to your collection, then let’s get right into our Terapagos location guide. We’ll try to go light on spoilers, but there are some story details within – keep that in mind before you continue.

How to evolve Duraludon into Archaludon in Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Duraludon, a Pokemon who first appeared in Sword and Shield a few years back, has received a brand-new evolution in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s new Indigo Disk DLC with Archaludon – and we’ll tell you how to evolve it.

Archaludon retains the Steel/Dragon-typing, though its Abilities have changed. Duraludon has Light Metal, Heavy Metal, and Stalwart. Meanwhile, Archaludon has Stamina, Sturdy, and Stalwart – which are generally more useful.

Raikou, Entei, and Suicune locations Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Those curious about the locations for Raikou, Entei, and Suicune in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can find out where to find each of them with our guide.

These Legendary Beasts – or Legendary Dogs – are available after clearing The Indigo Disk’s main story. As with all Legendary Pokemon, these are available via a character named Snacksworth who appears at the entrance of Blueberry Academy. Every time you clear 10 BP quests (accessed by clicking right on the D-pad), he will give you a snack for a random Legendary Pokemon. We’ve listed all of their locations right here, plus images of where they are on the map.

Indigo Disk version exclusives Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s second wave of DLC is here with The Indigo Disk, which means it’s time for another round of version exclusives. As you might expect, past Paradox Pokemon – including the newly-introduced ones – are exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet. At the same time, the future Paradox Pokemon are still exclusive to Pokemon Violet. This time around, there are only a handful of other exclusives. Surprisingly enough, to our knowledge the returning Legendary Pokemon that have been added to the game are not exclusive to either version.

Starter Pokemon locations Indigo Disk Pokemon Scarlet Violet

The Indigo Disk’s Terarium is home to every single starter Pokemon from previous games, and since they can all be caught in the wild, we’ll inform you about all of their locations – ranging from Squirtle to Cyndaquil. That said, you have to unlock the ability to find them in the wild first. Every starter Pokemon appears here except for Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly – those still can’t be found in the wild right now, so keep that in mind.

How to evolve Dipplin into Hydrapple in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Hydrapple is Dipplin’s new evolution introduced in The Indigo Disk DLC, and we’ll tell you about how to evolve it in this post.

There have been hints about this since The Teal Mask. In the game’s code, Dipplin was capable of utilizing the Eviolite item – which is only possible if the Pokemon can evolve again. Indeed, Dipplin has received a brand-new evolution in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC. Before Dipplin can evolve, however, you need Applin to evolve. We wrote a guide on how to evolve Applin into Dipplin a while back, and you can check that out right here before we continue with our Dipplin evolution guide.

The Indigo Disk DLC introduces the 19th type – Stellar, which can only appear on Terastallized Pokemon. You’ll encounter this phenomenon as you play through The Indigo Disk’s storyline, but we’ve put together a summary of its mechanics and how it works in competitive battles.
