Publisher Prototype and developer LIFE0 have announced via the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine that romantic visual novel Seven Days will be making its way to Switch. The game is slated to release in Japan sometime in 2024.

Seven Days initially released in Japan on PC in 2017, before receiving a PS Vita version in 2018 and a localized Steam version in late 2019. Players of the Switch version can look forward to extra CG added from the PS Vita version, the extra chapter “The Purple Envelope”, as well as Switch-exclusive features such as touchscreen functionality and one-handed Joy-Con support.

For more information on Seven Days, check the following overview.

The otome visual novel Luckydog1 is coming to the Switch on January 20, 2021. This game is published by Prototype Ltd. and developed by Tennenouji, and it will be priced at 5,200 yen on the Japanese eShop (it’s also getting a physical release for 6,160 yen).

This game first released in 2009 for PC but has been ported to multiple systems since then. The publisher MangaGamer is planning an English release for PC in the future, so it’s possible that the Switch might see this English release as well at some point.

The upgraded version of Summer Pockets has received a release date of July 1, 2021 on the Switch in Japan. This upgrade is called Summer Pockets: Reflection Blue, and it includes new characters to play as, additional story routes for the original cast, accessibility options, and much more.

If Switch owners already own the original game, Summer Pockets, they can upgrade to this new version for 3,000 yen. It will also be offered as a standalone game for 8,800 yen, and it has a physical version.

There are quite a few otome visual novels on Nintendo Switch already, and another one will soon join their ranks. Gunka o Haita Neko will launch in Japan on June 18; it will cost 7,150 Yen. The game sees Tama, princess of a race of cat people, having to choose between an arranged marriage or finding love with a mysterious human that appeared from the sky. An English localization hasn’t been announced so far, and it’s fairly unlikely that will change. The game has been released on a few other platforms so far and all releases have been Japan-only.
