League of Evil isn’t the only upcoming title from Ratalakia Games. 0000 is also planned for the console in addition to 3DS. Ratalakia has other Switch ports lined up as well, which we’ll be hearing about later on.

0000 is a tough platformer packed with 100 handmade levels. Players will be leaping and dodging to “rhythmic, tense music inspired by a combination of 8-bit and modern electronic music.”

Update: We actually have some news about the Wii U version. Unfortunately, it has been cancelled.

Ratalaika Games has brought several games to Wii U and 3DS. Now the publisher is preparing its first title for Switch: League of Evil.

The news was teased on Twitter earlier today:

You may recall that League of Evil was announced last year for Wii U and 3DS. Those versions haven’t made it out yet, as Ratalaika said it took some time to acquire the license for cross-play between Nintendo platforms and PC. In February, League of Evil was said to be hitting Wii U and 3DS “a little bit later on in the year”. It’s unclear what the status is currently, but we should be getting this Switch version at the very least.

Ratalaika Games has pushed out a new update for Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition. It should be out now on both Wii U and 3DS in North America, with Europe to follow on April 20.

This will be the final patch on Wii U. Explaining the decision, Ratalaika said:

“After some deep thought we’ve decided to move on from it, the effort it required to adjust a game to it with the needed quality wasn’t matching what we were getting back from it these days. This has been a hard choice for us due to it was the first console we worked on, but we wanted to move to other adventures on Nintendo…”

Here’s a rundown as to what’s included with the update:

System: Wii U (reviewed) / 3DS eShops
Release date: February 9, 2017
Developer: Ratalaika Games / VaragtP

Have you ever played Cookie Clicker or one of its hundreds of clones? Planetra is one of those idle games, now on your Wii U and 3DS. You harvest fruit, berries, eggs, manure – the whole gambit of things that come out of a farm, for gold. More gold means investing more resources into the farm. More resources yields larger quantities of produce to sell for yet more gold. Watching numbers tick up at a growing pace then releases dopamine in your brain.

We’ve seen plenty of Plantera footage on Wii U, but how’s the 3DS version shaping up? Have a look for yourself in the video below.

About 25 minutes of footage from the Wii U version of Plantera is now available to watch on YouTube. You can check it out below.

Plantera was already confirmed for launch on the European eShop next week. Ratalaika Games has now followed up about plans for North America, and we can now say that both regions will have the title on February 9.

Plantera will cost $4.99 / €4.99. Cross-buy is supported, so if you buy it on Wii U, you’ll get the 3DS version free (and same goes in the opposite direction).

The file sizes for both versions of Plantear are in. For Wii U, the size is 49 MB. On 3DS, it’s 120 blocks, which amounts to 15 MB.
