Phantom Breaker: Omnia delayed

Rocket Panda Games, Mages, and GameLoop today announced that their fighting title Phantom Breaker: Omnia has been delayed. It’s now planned for early 2022.

Phantom Breaker: Omnia was announced for Switch last October. The game was originally on track for release sometime this year.

Speaking about the delay for Phantom Breaker: Omnia, producer Masaki Sakari said that “the porting and localization processes have taken longer than I anticipated.” Read his full statement below.

Rocket Panda Games has released a new gameplay video for the anime fighting game Phantom Breaker: Omnia. The clip features a full round of combat between Waka and Sophia that showcases more of the game’s mechanics as well as Waka’s Phantom Breaker attack, Zessou Ryu-baku-jin.

The 2D anime fighting game Phantom Breaker: Extra is making a return on Switch as Phantom Breaker: Omnia. This marks the first time that it’ll be appearing in the west.

Phantom Breaker: Omnia was originally created by Mages, the team behind visual novels such as Steins;Gate. Rocket Panda Games is in charge of the new overseas release.
