Souldiers seeing a slight delay

Publisher Dear Villagers, along with developer Retro Forge, have announced a slight delay for Souldiers. The action-RPG Metroidvania adventure is now scheduled for June 2, 2022.

Souldiers was previously provided with a May 19 release date back in March.

Souldiers getting a physical release on Switch

Pix’n Love Games, in collaboration with Dear Villagers, today announced that it is preparing a physical version of Souldiers for Switch. It will ship in Q2 2022.

Souldiers was confirmed for Switch last October. The game will initially release digitally on May 19, 2022.

Souldiers was known to be coming to Switch after it was announced for the system back in October, though we didn’t have a release date. Dear Villagers only said that the game would be available this spring. Today though, it was revealed that the 16-bit inspired action-RPG Metroidvania adventure is slated for May 19, 2022.

Publisher Dear Villagers and developer Retro Forge have revealed that Souldiers, a 16-bit-style Metroidvania game, is in development for Switch. It will launch in Spring 2022.

Souldiers begins as you as well as other soldiers are whisked away to the mystical land of Terragaya, a place that’s on the fringes of the afterlife. Your primary goal is to find the Guardian and move on to the next world. However, it’s soon revealed that you and your fellow soldiers never actually died.
