Patrick Redding, director of Splinter Cell: Blacklist, has joined Batman: Arkham Origins developer Warner Bros. Games Montreal. Redding is officially with the studio as a creative director, according to his LinkedIn profile. At this time, it’s unclear as to what he’s working on.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is currently available on Amazon for $18. You can pick up a copy here. Blacklist is a pretty high-quality third-party release, so if you haven’t added it to your library yet, you may want to consider grabbing the game from Amazon.

A pair of Ubisoft titles have received permanent price discounts on the Wii U eShop. As of now, Assassin’s Creed III is available for $19.99. Splinter Cell: Blacklist’s price has been slashed to $39.99.

Ubisoft shared shipment figures for two semi-recent titles during its latest financial results conference call. Rayman Legends shipped one million while Splinter Cell: Blacklist sold two million copies of its own, according to the publisher. Ubisoft also commented on Assassin’s Creed IV’s performance, stating first week sales were lower than last year’s Assassin’s Creed III.
