Nintendo Switch Parental Controls

The Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app has received its newest update since last November. Version 1.8.0 is out now on both iOS and Android.

According to Nintendo, the update addresses changes to the Software Rating Organizations used for content restrictions and other features. Bug fixes have also been implemented.

A new update for the Switch Parental Controls app is now available, bringing it to version 1.7.2. As you might be able to guess from this small jump in versions, this is only a minor update; the official patch notes merely say that a few bugs have been fixed.

A new update for the Android version of the Switch Parental Controls mobile app will notice that a new update is now available. Nintendo has issued version 1.7.1 which, in addition to bug fixes, adds support to Android 9.0. Here are the patch notes:

  • Support Android 9.0.
  • Implemented bug fixes.

Those who have downloaded the Switch Parental Controls on mobile will notice that a new update is now available. On both iOS and Android, Nintendo has issued version 1.7.0.

The latest update for Nintendo Switch Parental Controls is now live. Assuming you have the mobile app, version 1.6.0 is now available.

The new patch doesn’t do much, as it only implements bug fixes. It’s not quite as exciting as version 1.5.0 when several features were added.

Nintendo Switch Parental Controls

A new update is rolling out for the Nintendo Switch Parental app. Version 1.50 is currently live on iOS. It doesn’t seem to be live just yet on Android as of this moment, but it should be very soon.

Today’s update adds a few new features. For instance, whitelist functionality allows users to exclude games from the Parental Controls Restricted Software setting on Switch.

The Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app has received an update, though it only looks to be available on iOS at present. The latest patch is version 1.4.1. Nintendo’s update notes only make mention of bug fixes.

As far as we’re aware, this update has not yet been distributed on Android. Google Play still has Nintendo Switch Parental Controls at version 1.4.0. If that changes, we’ll let you know.

The latest update for Nintendo Switch Parental Controls has gone live. Nintendo has issued version 1.4.0 on iOS at the very least, and might be available on Android soon as well.

As for what the update does, don’t expect any new functionality. Nintendo says that today’s update is for bug fixes.

Update 1.3.0 of the Switch Parental Controls app is out now on iOS devices. This versions adds support for iOS 11 and also implements several bug fixes.

Nintendo already released an update for the Switch Parental Controls app this week. That brought it up to version 1.2.0. Another small patch has been issued today as well – version 1.2.1. Nintendo merely states that more bug fixes have been implemented.
