Windscape

Ahead of the game’s release on the Switch eShop later this month, YouTube channel Nintendo Hall has published footage of the first 30 minutes of gameplay in Windscape.

Windscape is coming to Switch on March 27, Headup Games announced today. The title, which is an homage to The Legend of Zelda, is “a first person exploration adventure with elements of modern crafting and sandbox games, where you explore a beautifully handcrafted fantasy world, fight monsters, interact with NPCs, solve quests and puzzles.”

Nintendo World Report has shared new footage of Windscape out of GDC. Take a look at the video below.

Headup Games’ website is showing three new potential games for Switch. Windscape, Toby: The Secret Mine, and The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk are all listed for Nintendo’s console.

Windscape was announced for Wii U in 2016, though that version is unlikely to happen at this point. Headup Games did release Toby: The Secret Mine on Wii U about a year ago. The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk, which debuted last October, has not yet appeared on a Nintendo platform.

Headup Games published Typoman on Wii U towards the end of last year. The company is now gearing up for several additional releases on the eShop.

The story-driven puzzler In Between, first-person action-adventure Windscape, and multiplayer brawler Treasure Arena are all on the way to Wii U. SEUM: Speedrunners From Hell is also likely for the system, but is not completely confirmed just yet.
