Tengoku Struggle: Strayside seeing English release on Switch

Original: Aksys Games is teaming up with Idea Factory for an English version of Tengoku Struggle: Strayside in the west, the two sides confirmed today. Fans can expect the Switch otome visual novel to arrive in North America and Europe in 2024.

From the team that created Olympia Soirée comes Tengoku Struggle: Strayside, a comedic battle fantasy set in a place where the living and the dead mingle, and sinners are pitted against each other in eternal battle. Rin Enma, adopted daughter of the king of the underworld, has been tasked with tracking down and recapturing a group of escaped sinners. Accompanying her on her journey are four reformed sinners hand-picked by her father. Will Rin succeed in her mission… and will she discover love?

Update: Aksys Games has confirmed the launch for April specifically. Also, the company’s online store will feature an exclusive edition of the game that contains a soundtrack CD.
Here’s the latest information:
It is year XX of the Reiwa era. Through an agreement between the Human Realm and the Hell Realm, Asakusa was transformed into a tourist attraction where the living can meet the dead. One day, the Spider’s Thread was dropped from Heaven down into Hell, allowing many of Hell’s prisoners to escape.
King Enma thus orders his novice Hell Guardian daughter, Rin, to capture the escapees along with Goemon Ishikawa and a few other trustworthy prisoners. When they descend to the Human Realm for their mission, their investigation leads them to an event held by a former prisoner of Hell, Shinobikuni, where she reveals a pardoning app that will forgive people for their sins. What is Shinobikuni’s goal? And what will become of the humans who were promised entry into Heaven?
This is a story that encompasses Heaven and Earth- what fate awaits this world?
