Wii U / 3DS maintenance taking place tonight / tomorrow

In what looks to be a busy week for maintenance, Wii U and 3DS will be impacted on two separate occasions tonight. Nintendo has maintenance planned on both platforms, which will impact certain network services pertaining to online play.
The maintenance schedule is as follows:
Period 1
– 6 PM PT (October 2) – 8 PM PT (October 2)
– 9 PM ET (October 2) – 11 PM ET (October 2)
– 2 AM in the UK (October 3) – 4 AM in the UK (October 3)
– 3 AM in Europe (October 3) – 5 AM in Europe (October 3)
Period 2
– 10 PM PT (October 2) – 12 AM PT (October 3)
– 1 AM ET (October 3) – 3 AM ET (October 3)
– 6 AM in the UK (October 3) – 8 AM in the UK (October 3)
– 7 AM in Europe (October 3) – 9 AM in Europe (October 3)
