Wizard’s Symphony details and screenshots – characters, game systems

Arc System Works published a new wave of details and screenshots for Wizard’s Symphony today. We learn more about Feline Sora and Nina Lazydaisy, along with a few different systems. Find everything rounded up below, courtesy of Gematsu.

Feline Sora

– Job: Conductor
– Race: Half-Cat
– Traveling while studying alchemy
– Is carefree, and sometimes lacks cooperativeness because of her “study” first policy
– Attacker who utilizes alchemy and the “Necronomicon” grimoire packed with alchemic wisdom to attack groups of enemies at once with vast range, attribute-based attacks
– Her enthusiasm for studying has gone far enough to impact her sense of money, which has gone mad to the point that she will waste money to buy any alchemic material she comes across
– Fe appears to be indifferent to others, but will go wild when it comes to “studying”…

Nina Lazydaisy

– Job: Idol (self-proclaimed)
– Race: Human
– Healer chasing after her dream of becoming a popular idol
– Loves to sing and dance
– Helpful and caring, but it often gets her involved in others’ troubles
– She is a troubled older sister-type who becomes a crying drunk when she drinks
– Supports party members extensively with her singing and dancing talents
– When using skills, she requires her very own dedicated “Song Tokens” instead of MP

Accept Quests as a Conductor and Take on the Ruins (Dungeons)

– In order for the protagonist Alto t become a full-fledged “Ruins Tour Guide” (also known as a “Conductor”) as well as to acquire adventure funding, the player will take on dangerous dungeons
– Dungeon RPG centered around “hack & slash” and full of playability
– Characters gradually become stronger as you gain experience points and items by defeating the powerful monsters that attack you
– Conversations between the party will happen at random in the dungeon
– By meeting certain requirements, you can enjoy main story events and character-specific events

Base

– In the city of “Kazan,” which flourishes in trade, you can accept quests and strengthen equipment, and properly prepare for challenging the dungeon
– Can also look forward to events that occur at the base

Dungeon

– Turn-based command-style battles
– Random conversations between party members are here during exploration, as well as events
– The side elements that you would find in a dungeon RPG are of course included, as is a story full of volume

A Unique Battle System that Incorporates “Affinity”

Enhance Link

– Cooperate with your battle members
– Depending on their affinity, battle members can link up with the character next to them to protect them from an enemy attack, pursue the enemy, or heal them from a status ailment
– Activates on its own

Chain Assist

– Sub members lend a hand in battle to increase your odds
– Depending on their affinity, a sub member in your reserve can cover one of your battle members
– Sometimes they can protect them when they are on the verge of death, or even resurrect them
– Actives on its own
– 2-5 characters can link up for an Enhance Link
– If all five party members link up, a powerful all-out attack called a “Link Burst” will activate
