There’s some speculation going around that Nintendo plans to release both Xenoblade and The Last Story in North America. The possibility of Pandora’s Tower also launching stateside is unknown. Apparently localization for Xenoblade is already complete while The Last Story is currently being translated into English.

I’m a bit skeptical of this information, though at least it revitalizes hope once more. However, this does contradict a report from a couple of weeks ago in which Nintendo’s French lead manager said that the Xenoblade didn’t make an apperance at E3 because Nintendo of America wasn’t interested in showing product that they don’t intend to sell.

The story behind the rumor is also somewhat skeptical since it supposedly comes from a trusted source inside Nintendo (that’s not exactly difficult to fabricate!). It’d probably be wise to take this latest speculation with a huge grain of salt for now.

According to information gathered from Nintendo, Kid Icarus: Uprising isn’t due out in Europe this year. The title is now on track for a Q1 2012 release in the territory. No reason was provided for the game’s delay.

I’m wondering if the delay will affect North America/Japan as well or if it’s specific for Europe. Last we heard, Uprising is launching in North America later this year.

Who’s developing the peculiar rhythm-based Final Fantasy game for 3DS? UTV Ignition’s Shane Bettenhausen has reason to believe that the mystery studio is none other than Jupiter.

Some of Jupiter’s previous work includes Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Spectrobes. Jupiter also made The World Ends with You for DS, which is one of the most critically acclaimed titles for the DS.

I’m not sure what Bettenhausen’s source is, though in this case I have a feeling he’s right. Jupiter has been involved with Nintendo handhelds since the Game Boy and hasn’t made any recent titles. It’d make sense for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy to fit within their development schedule.

Xenoblade’s coming out in Europe in just a couple of months. The Last Story seems to be on track for 2012. And Pandora’s Tower? Apparently that’s also launching in Europe next year.

Live Wii claims to have heard that Nintendo will be completing the trifecta of recent Wii RPGs by launching the game in 2012. The site didn’t provide any particular source though, so take this rumor with a grain of salt for now.

Rumor has it that the two other “pieces” of the Japanese Wii RPG puzzle have shown up in Europe. The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower are both apparently at the Japan Expo in Paris. The Last Story is supposedly playable in English while Pandora’s Tower is represented in Japanese. Still, if true, the fact that both these titles are at the show is a very positive sign that the games will be released in Europe.

Last year, Solatorobo appeared at the Japan Expo in France. We later learned that Nintendo of Europe was localizing the game for numerous territories. A new rumor claims that Pandora’s Tower will be seeing similar treatment. However, we won’t be able to confirm the speculation until the event is over.

The pamphlet above claims that Tales of the Abyss 3DS will be available in Europe on November 10. Is that true? Namco Bandai hasn’t said anything officially, so who knows! Last we heard, NGamer said that the title would launch in Spring 2012…

Ludovic Lamouroux, Nintendo France Product Director, has apparently said that The Last Story is in fact heading to Europe. Since the translation is a bit and I can’t track down the original source, consider this a rumor now. I personally won’t believe it until we hear an official announcement.

“Xenoblade will arrive after the holidays on Wii, like The Last Story in 2012.”

If this is true, then it’d be yet another amazing move by Nintendo of Europe. The only other game they’d need to localize is Pandora’s Tower. Now, imagine if North America ends up not receiving any of these titles… that’s a bleak future.

A few sites are reporting that an announcement will soon be made for Solatorobo in North America. Some folks are speculating the XSEED will be publishing the title, though that has yet to be confirmed. Apparently we’ll be seeing the announcement before month’s end. A lot has been said about the Wii U. Then again, there’s still a bunch of areas that we know next to nothing about. For instance, Nintendo has neglected to share more in-depth specs for the console, leading industry insiders and fans alike to wonder how it stacks up to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

While nothing hasn’t been confirmed, Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia claims to have some insight. After speaking with developers at E3, Agee told IndustryGamers that Wii U will exceed the processing power of Microsoft and Sony’s consoles by 50%

“Some of the developers we spoke to indicated to us that the console will have 50% more processing power compared to the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. This is yet to be confirmed by Nintendo.”
