Minecraft devs on the upcoming Better Together update, servers on consoles

The developers of Minecraft have big plans in store for the game. Towards the end of the year, players on different systems will be able to connect with cross-platform play, and servers are coming to consoles. Listen to some of the developers of Minecraft discussing these new features below.

    Nice Microsoft, more games should have cross-platform play 😀 also no PS4?

    • Microsoft wanted to do cross-play with PS4 too but Sony said no, like they always do.

        Oh… that’s a shame :C I bet you Sony would have said yes if they didn’t have such a relatively large install base

        • Maybe, it just really sucks they refused because now it completely isolates PS4 Minecraft players and ensures that now the PS4 version of Minecraft is the worst one. So Sony’s refusal really only hurts their own customers.
