Pokemon Presents live stream July 2025

The latest Pokemon Presents for July 2025 is about to start, and just ahead of the event, we have the official live stream. While the main event begins at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe, a DJ event with Pikachu is happening first.

The Pokemon Company hasn’t spoken about what we should expect to see, but these presentations are fairly predictable. Expect lots of mobile updates, but we should be getting the latest look at Pokemon Legends: Z-A and possibly Pokemon Champions.

Nintendo Switch 2 sales record PS2 Japan

In a report from Yomiuri, the outlet reveals that Nintendo Switch 2 beaten PS2 for sales record in Japan. This is based on sales data provided by Famitsu.

Nintendo Switch 2 appears to have sold at least 1.5 million units in Japan during its first month. However, Famitsu doesn’t track data for units sold by Nintendo, so that number would be quite a bit higher. Famitsu tracks sales from over 3,000 stores in Japan.

The Wandering Village physical

May 20: Stray Fawn Studio is working with Serenity Forge on a physical release of The Wandering Village on Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced.

A standard version is planned alongside a collector’s edition. In the latter, you’ll be getting a sticker sheet, soundtrack download card, 5-inch pot, wooden pin set, art book, rubber keychain, and postcards. The former only includes the soundtrack download card and sticker sheet.

The new voice actor for Princess Peach has come forward, and we now know that Courtney Lin is playing the role 

Lin’s first recordings for Peach were for Mario Kart World. Additionally, she played Baby Peach in the racer as well, which isn’t unexpected.

Bustafellows trailer

A final launch trailer is in for Bustafellows Season 2. After Japan got it in 2023, the visual novel sequel was brought to the week this past week.

Hitman Switch 2 performance mode

Following an investigation from Digital Foundry, it seems that Hitman World of Assassination has a hidden “performance mode” of sorts that many are probably unaware of.

It turns out that the game’s rendering resolution and performance changes according to how Nintendo Switch 2’s front-end menus are set. Depending on that, players could experience up to a 62.5 percent performance increase.

Pokemon Presents July 2025

May 28:A new Pokemon Presents is taking place on July 22, 2025, it’s just been announced. Information about specific timing of the presentation will follow later.

The Pokemon Company did not say what will be included in the Pokemon Presents event. However, expect Pokemon Legends: Z-A to be a big focus – the game just received an October release date. We’ll also likely get updates about ongoing titles such as Pokemon Unite and Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending July 19, 2025 is now available.

The biggest new release was Donkey Kong Bananza, which managed to come out on top in its first week. That’s a good start, but we have more insight and a couple of comparisons.

New data provided by Famitsu gives us a look at Japan’s best-selling games of June 2025.

June was Nintendo Switch 2 launch month, and Mario Kart World was a massive success. The game sold close to 1.2 million copies at retail. Tamagotchi Plaza also did pretty well, selling over 100,000 copies on both Nintendo Switch 1 and 2.
