Bloodstained introduces two new enemies, composer interview
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 7 Comments
As part of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s February Kickstarter update, two new enemies are introduced. We have a first look at the flying harpy Aello and the demon beast Gieremund.
Below are the official comments from Bloodstained Koji Igarashi about both enemies:
“Our first new enemy is Aello. This flying harpy keeps its distance from the player. Our original plan was to put her in the ship stage, where she would use physical and wind attacks.
This second enemy is Gieremund, a fast-moving, beast-type demon that attacks on all fours. Guarding against this enemy’s attacks will require quick reflexes.”

Also for the new Kickstarter update, Igarashi interviewed composer Michiru Yamane. Watch the full discussion below.

Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch eShop | 9 Comments
Young Horses is currently working on a new project, though it won’t have much to do with Octodad. On Twitter, programmer / producer Kevin Geisler mentioned that the team hopes to put it on Switch.
@Q_Mulative @cinemassacres we're working on a non-Octodad related game now which we hope to release on Switch at some point.

On another note, it sounds like Young Horses wanted to have Octodad on Switch just like Wii U, but was told by Nintendo that the company is focusing on new games currently. It could still be an option for the indie developer in the future, but we’ll just have to wait and see if it happens.

GameSeek says it will be taking Switch pre-orders for £198.50 again
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 17 Comments
The RRP for Switch in the UK is £279.99. Despite that, GameSeek had been honoring pre-orders of £198.50 before the system was properly unveiled last month.
GameSeek will actually be offering consumers another chance to purchase Switch for £198.50 in the near future. This time around, the retailers pre-orders will be for the Neon Red / Neon Blue console. Those who secure a reservation will apparently have their order dispatched prior to release.
Keep in mind that GameSeek takes the money for pre-orders up-front unlike most retailers. It’s apparently done to “deter thieves,” though you may want to exercise caution in any case.
