Thus far, we’ve seen Bravely Default and Bravely Second. There’s no question that the series will continue, and producer Tomoya Asano is already thinking about a third entry.

Speaking with Famitsu this week, Asano said:

“I don’t know what to say about that at this time [with Bravely Second releasing soon] but I already have some ideas for Bravely Third in my head. If Bravely Second sells well, I plan on presenting plans for it right away. Thank you for your continued support.”

Asano and assistant producer Shinji Takahashi touched on a few other topics. Asked to share their thoughts on the game, the two said:

“I feel like there’s been more of a response to [Bravely Second] than the previous game.” – Takahashi

“We’ve packed it with all the ideas we can think of for its story and system.” – Asano

Finally, on the topic of Bravely Second’s play time, Asano noted that it took him roughly 70 hours while loosely going through all of the game’s elements. However, Takahashi pointed out that you’ll need to spend about 50 hours to complete the main story, and 100 hours to level all the jobs and check out sub-scenarios.
