A leaked Target ad confirms the existence of the Mario Special Edition 3DS XL. The package includes a specially-designed system and pre-installed copy of Mario & Luigi: Dream Team for $199.99. Target will begin selling the Mario Special Edition starting on December 2, and that’ll likely be the case for most retailers.

Several 2DS bundles have been listed by Amazon.

Over at Amazon.es, the site includes entries for Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf packs. Amazon Germany also seems to list the same bundles as well as one for Mario Kart 7.

Nintendo hasn’t officially confirmed any 2DS bundles for the west, though the company did recently announce the two Pokemon packs for South Korea.

Thanks to snow for the tip.

“Apparently, within 30 seconds of thinking about a possible game [producer Kenichiro Takaki] decided that one of the things people want to see the most in 3D are breasts.”

Without the existence of the 3DS eShop and a publisher like XSEED, North American audiences would probably never get to fully experience Senran Kagura Burst!. The anime-inspired (directly, in fact: there’s an anime in existence of the same name without the “Burst!” tagline) brawler seems to be on the radar of a handful of folks who probably stumbled upon an eccentric screenshot or video thumbnail that proudly displayed the game’s fascination with large, round breasts. This, after all, is how I was first intrigued.

But another curiosity quickly follows exposure to the game’s aesthetic: Is it actually well-designed, or does its merit hinge solely upon its ability to assail you with large boobs?

It is, a touch regrettably for some, chiefly to do with the boobs.

Artist Chris Carlson has created a lovely chalk drawing for the launch of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Fans can check out the piece at the Nintendo World Store in New York City. Here’s a look at the finished art:
