This week’s Famitsu review scores are as follows:

Game Center CX 3 will launch in Japan on January 23, the latest Famitsu has revealed. It’ll feature more than 15 mini-games, an explorable town map, game centers, and more. G.rev will be handling development as opposed to indieszero.

Pricing is set at 5,480 yen. A limited edition will also be available for 7,480 yen. This special release will be detailed at the Tokyo Game Show.


Tetris Puyo Puyo is now a thing, according to Famitsu. The game has been revealed for the Wii U, 3DS, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita.

Very little has leaked out of Famitsu thus far. However, we do know that a single-player mode will be offered, and multiplayer battle functionality will also be included which combines Tetris and Puyo Puy’s individual systems. We’ll bring you more details as they come in.



One more game has been confirmed for J Legend Biography. According to the latest issue of Jump, YuYu Hakusho will be included. Go Go Ackman 3 is the only other Super Famicom release confirmed for the collection thus far.

The latest scan for One Piece: Unlimited World Red reveals that Eiichiro Oda, creator of the original manga, is making original characters for the 3DS game.

Monster Hunter 4 seems to be filled with cross-overs. In addition to Nintendo tie-ins, it’s been revealed that the game will feature a collaboration with the Silver Spoon anime series. Capcom will make the the Silver Spoon available – a hunting horn weapon that can be used in the game.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is real, and it’s coming to the 3DS.

This week’s Jump reveals that Square Enix is working on a full-blown sequel to Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. It’ll feature over 200 songs, including ones from the upcoming games Final Fantasy XV and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. More than 60 characters and a versus battle mode will be included.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will be released in Japan next spring.


Monster Hunter 4 is just a few days away from releasing in Japan, but Capcom is still updating the game’s official website. The latest content covers two more monsters – Rathalos and Zinogre. Screenshots and details for both can be found below.

Rathalos

– Spews flame
– Uses speed and flight to attack hunters below
– Often called the King of the Sky
– His rookery (also houses his wife Rathian) overlooks his territory easily from on high
– Tip of his tail has poison
– When he ground slams hunters to the floor is more than happy to take a healthy bite out of daring foes

Zinogre

– Thunder dragon
– Uses lightning and thunder while rending swipes of his razor-sharp claws and long tail lashes
– Sometimes calls on surrounding lightning bugs to grant him super-charged powers
– If this happens, Zinogre’s lightning strikes will annihilate everyone around him
