The latest batch of Puzzle & Dragons Z cover the additions and premium subtractions from the mobile version and more. You can find a convenient summary below.
– Numerous freemium features from the mobile version are being removed
– Game will have more RPG elements including fields to explode
– 3DS game won’t have Magic Stones (chance to acquire rare monsters and recover your stamina to continue playing, in exchange for cash)
– Also being removed is the team cost feature (limited what kind of monsters you could have in your party)
– 70-80% of the monsters will be brand new
– NPCs will provide hints and strike up conversation
– Level up system will be included
– Players will need “Chips” in order to evolve monsters
– Chips will also have various patterns in the evolution process
– Trade monsters with friends
– Character cards store all of your player data
– Friend registration system: your friend’s leader monster can appear as a helper in your battles

Namco Bandai is preparing a new 3DS game based on the Kuroko’s Basketball manga/anime series, according to the latest issue of Jump. Details are essentially non-existent at this point, but we do know that it will have an original story.
A release date and price haven’t been announced at this time.
Capcom outlines DLC plans for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies

Capcom is preparing a variety of downloadable content for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies.
First, Japanese players will be able to pick up the Costume Pack for free until August 15.
Capcom will also release the Turnabout Quiz Deduction series. Each episode requires you to piece together happenings at the Wright Anything Agency. The prologue section from Turnabout Quiz Deduction will be unlocked after players complete the game. New DLC will be released weekly between August 1 and August 15 for 150 yen each.
Lastly, sometime in the future, Capcom will send out a brand new case known as “Turnabout Return”. The DLC takes place right after Phoenix regains his badge. Aquarium entertainer Shouko Umino hires Phoenix to defend her partner, the orca Ale, against a murder charge.
More Medabots Dual details

Another batch of Medabots Dual details have been translated from Famitsu. You can find the latest information about the new 3DS game below.
– Two versions are Kabuto and Kuwagata
– Players can use the same customization features that let players freely use parts to make create their own Medabot
– First print copies of the game will come with an exclusive card binder, an AR card that will give you a special part Medabot part, and a limited edition Medabot
– First print purchasers will also be included to a lottery for a chance to win 28 special AR cards
– Kabuto will be a shooter-type that focuses on long-ranged attacks
– Kuwagata will be all about pulling consecutive combos in close-ranged combat
– Different navigational voices for the two versions
– Aya Endo is for the Kabuto version
– Rie Kugimiya is for the Kuwagata version
– Over 100 new Medabots
– Tag team fights are done with teammates called “Buddies”, which will also include characters from past Medabot titles
– Trade parts online

Retailers list LEGO Marvel Super Heroes release date, plus get a $10 credit from Amazon

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes appears to be launching on October.
We’ve been digging around various retailer listings for release date information, and came across a few that have something in common. Amazon, GameFly, and GameStop all say that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will be out on October 22.
Warner Bros. previously confirmed a vague fall 2013 window for the title.
In other news, those who pre-order LEGO Marvel Super Heroes from Amazon, will receive a $10 credit. The offer is valid for almost all versions – with the DS game being the one exception.
