Rayman will be released on the European eShop next week. NOE’s website says that the game will be priced at £4.50.

The classic Game Boy Color title will launch in North America “soon”.

Yesterday’s Mighty Switch Force update brought along a few changes. It added new levels, a replay button, and “enhanced” 3D.

While the first two elements are absolutely clear, the improved 3D visuals was slightly confusing. Just how was the effect improved?

Developer WayForward explained on its Facebook page:

“A lot of people have been wondering how the 3D has been ‘enhanced’ in the new version of Mighty Switch Force. Essentially, the game has more 3D layers than before. These subtle improvements can be found throughout the game. One example are the rear walls of Incident 2, which used to be flat against the character and now extend deep into the playfield. Your eye may not pick up all the differences, but your brain will!”

A new pamphlet circulating around in Japan indicates that Atlus is readying a demo for Etrian Odyssey IV. It unfortunately doesn’t contain any details about the trial, nor does it say when it’ll be released. However, the pamphlet mentions that any progress made in the demo will carry over to the final retail game.

Etrian Odyssey IV launches in Japan on July 5, so the demo will probably be out before then.

The Game Boy Color version of Rayman will be releasing on the eShop in the near future. Yesterday’s store update introduced a new shelf for the platforming series, which says that the classic game will be available soon. I’d guess it’ll be available within the next two weeks… maybe.

The Order Up!! 3DS demo wasn’t on the eShop today for a reason. SuperVillain Studios co-founder Chris Rausch confirmed that the download was delayed a week because “Nintendo is apparently going to get behind it for a bit of a push”.

This should mean that the game will receive its own section on the store next week. Maybe Nintendo will even send out a SpotPass notification about the demo.

According to Rausch:

“We have just received word that the demo is being pushed back a week on the eShop, as Nintendo is apparently going to get behind it for a bit of a push, which would be awesome! No specifics, but either way, expect the demo next week, and the game is now approved, so it should be hitting the eShop in early June.”
