You can now purchase a refurbished 3DS or DSi system directly from Nintendo.

Nintendo says on its page that “Authentic Nintendo Refurbished Products are the only refurbished products in the market that have been cleaned, tested, and inspected to meet Nintendo’s high standards.” All purchases come with a one-year warranty, and can only be bought directly from the Big N.

These systems “are guaranteed to be fully functional”, according to Nintendo, though may carry “minor cosmetic blemishes.”

You can find more information on the official page here.

A new Pokemon promotion will be running for the Black/White and Black/White 2 games next month. Between May 8 and May 31, Deoxys will be distributed through a Wi-Fi event.

Deoxys arrives at level 100. Some special moves, which have not yet been revealed, will be included with the Pokemon.

In order to obtain Deoxys, you’ll of course need a copy of the game, a DS/3DS system, and Internet access. Also make sure that no more than 11 Wonder Cards are in your possession.

Nintendo today reported financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013. After reporting a net loss in its previous fiscal year, Nintendo was able to return to profitability in both Net and Ordinary Income for the full year, although Operating Income remained negative.

Based on the strong lineup of upcoming software titles for both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U systems, Nintendo expects to return to Operating Income profitability by the end of the current fiscal year. During the next several months, Nintendo expects to launch new titles in the Mario Kart (Wii U), Super Mario Bros. (Wii U), Wii Fit (Wii U),Pikmin (Wii U), The Legend of Zelda (Wii U and Nintendo 3DS), Mario & Luigi (Nintendo 3DS) and Pokémon (Nintendo 3DS) franchises. These games, along with titles from Nintendo’s third-party publishing partners, will help drive hardware momentum and introduce new audiences to the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS platforms.

Update 2: And back up to $17.75! I think we’re done with these minimal price changes now.

Update: Now down to… $17.59.
