The official website for Project X Zone will see its grand opening next week. It’ll be ready for business on Tuesday. If we’re lucky, maybe we’ll get a trailer.

View the Project X Zone website here.

More details from Famitsu’s write-up on Project X Zone have been translated. We learn about how some of the characters were chosen for the game. Information about combined character moves is included, too.

The new details are as follows:

– Chris Redfield/Jill Valentine chosen for Capcom because of their participation in Resident Evil: Revelations
– Characters from Shining Force picked since it has the biggest name recognition
– Characters from EXA chosen because they felt they were the best fit
– Yuri/Estelle (Tales of Vesperia) chosen because they’re older and closer in age to the other characters
– Sanger Zonvolt is one of the few characters who fights alone
– Ulala (Space Channel 5) is paired with Shining Force characters
– Characters combine their signature moves
– Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter do a Shinku Hadouken & EX Hadouken
– Another move: Ken’s Shoryuken with Ryu’s Metsu Hadouken
– X and Zero from Mega Man X can use moves such as X-Buster & Z-Saber and Raijingeki & Twin Slasher
– Kurt and Riela can use an Anti-tank lance & Light of the Valkyria

There are some fans out there who are still seething about the lack of a Monster Hunter Tri G localization announcement yesterday and the focus of Captivate overall.

Capcom’s Christian Svensson took to the company’s forums once again to address the criticism. He asked fans for their patience and hinted at more announcements “in the coming months”.

In one message, Svensson wrote:

“I understand you want MH and other franchises… patience.”

And in another:

“We will have additional announcements of more products in the coming months and perhaps what you seek will be there.”

Thanks to Jake for the tip!

I suppose this is the first English footage of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, isn’t it?

Could North America end up getting Pandora’s Tower, the final game in the Wii RPG trinity? Short answer: Possibly.

NinTemple has posted an alleged audio recording of a conversation held with a GameStop manager, hinting at a potential announcement.

If it’s reliable, pre-orders will begin in June. Apparently an internal GameStop message informed employees to tell customers about The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower when they purchased Xenoblade Chronicles last Friday.

One issue is that we can’t confirm the validity of the recording. The manager also mentioned some inaccurate information, including how Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story are GameStop exclusives. We all know this isn’t true.

We’ll mark this as a rumor for the time being.

Nintendo’s Korean division will be holding a Nintendo Direct presentation on April 14 at 7:00 AM EST. The company will be announcing 3DS launch information for the territory – yes, they’re still waiting for the system!

Although this Nintendo Direct is planned for Korea only, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw another Japanese (and possibly American/European) presentation later this month.

You can follow the proceedings here.
