December 2011 NPD hardware sales for the Wii are in.

The Wii sold 1.06 million units last month. This figure is based on a tweet from Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter, which states that the console’s sales are down by 55% year-over-year.

I still can’t believe how shameless this ripoff is. At least Nintendo is probably aware about this by now given the fact that it’s received a great deal of attention from the media.

Nintendo has announced a final Japanese release date for Kid Icarus: Uprising. It’s due out on March 22 for 5,800 yen. The game will be packaged in with six AR cards and the stand that we mentioned last night.

Uprising’s Japanese website received an update today. It reconfirms Slide Pad support, which will be beneficial for left-handed users.

Nintendo of America has posted the English version of the second Super Mario 3D Land tips/tricks video. It’s essentially the same clip as the Japanese video, but it’s certainly worth watching it again!

Nintendo has been handling WiiWare demos in a very strange way. New trials have been added periodically, but the Big N has been removing them just a few weeks after they’ve hit the Wii Shop Channel.

Today has brought us a bit of a surprise. All 50 demos that were previously added to the channel can be downloaded once more.

I have no idea if this is an error, or if Nintendo realized the errors of their ways. Let’s hope it’s the latter!

Thanks to Jake for the tip!

Is Zen Pinball 3D the right game for you? Perhaps this video will help you decide!

Reggie once again seems to hint at some Wii U news before E3. Toward the end of the video, he said, “we’ll share more information between now and E3 and after E3.” Maybe we’ll receive some information during GDC?
