Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 – Lost Labyrinth Act II revamped, changes update

– SEGA has revamped and finalized the Lost Labyrinth Act II level for consoles
– New torch mechanic in the level
– The torch adds to exploration and platforming
– Most of the level is in darkness except for the torchlight
– New parts of the environment that you can use the torch with
– Blow up parts of the level to make new paths
– Trigger hidden paths of the ancient ruins to help you move forward
– Minecart only at the end of the level
– No motion controls for the minecart
– Sonic’s running speed has been changed slightly (includes when he builds up speed)
– Most noticeable when Sonic is running at full speed
– Can trigger blurry feet faster than before, more comparable to the old games
– Tweaks in difficulty
– Next update will arrive in early September

There were rumblings that Metroid: Other M would be getting a live-action commercial, and as you can see above, that’s finally been confirmed. We’ve now seen ads from Japan, the UK, and now the United States. Which one do you prefer the most?
