Update: Added in Sunday’s updates.

Nintendo Badge Arcade has been receiving daily updates since heading to the 3DS eShop. Because it’s continually updated with content, we’re rounding up all of the additions and changes in a weekly post.

Here’s what’s on tap for the week of March 13:

March 13

– 8 Super Mario Bros. panels
– 12 Super Mario Maker panels (3 with 1 days left, 3 with 2 days left)
– 4 Mario panels
– 6 Pokemon panels
– Thank you badge offer until March 23
– Super Mario Bros. theme offer until March 16
– 1 free play

SEGA’s panel for Sonic at SXSW 2017 this past week was packed with plenty of news. Updates were shared for both Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces, the latter of which was given its final name and had gameplay shown. For those that missed the panel, you can watch it below.

A few weeks ago, the Game Creators Conference 2017 was held in Japan. It was here that Nintendo’s Masaru Mitsuyoshi and Capcom’s Masaru Ijuin held a joint session about Switch. Plenty of information was shared, including how dev kits cost just 50,000 yen. You can read our original post here. With GamesIndusty Japan posting a follow-up article, there are a few exta tidbits we wanted to share.

Nintendo and Capcom had been discussing Switch’s performance and specs. It was important for Nintendo as a platform holder to gather opinions from various developers.

More:

Switch has a limit on the amount of screenshots you can take. When using the system’s internal storage, it caps off at 1,000 images. The microSD card can hold a much more significant amount. With the external storage, it’s possible to store 10,000 screenshots.

The limit of 10,000 isn’t impossible to work with, but the restriction of 1,000 from Switch’s memory can be more difficult to handle. Given how Switch’s internal memory only contains about 26GB of free space, purchasing a microSD card is advisable.

Monster Hunter XX has finally launched in Japan, and Twitch streams have already begun. Head past the break for an archive containing four hours of footage.

Nintendo began to tease Super Mario Run’s big 2.0.0 update a couple of days ago. In the first information batch, it was confirmed that new playable characters would be added.

We’re not sure if this is all, but Nintendo has announced that new Yoshi colors are incoming. Along with the usual green color, red, blue, yellow, and purple will be the alternates. Nintendo also points out that it will be easier to collect Toads of the same Yoshi color currently being used in Toad Rally.

Super Mario Run’s new update arrives on March 23. The game is hitting Android on the same day.
